Our New Build Project...

Our school currently nurtures 180 pupils to a high standard across 7 year groups.  Funding and lack of facilities has meant that our 7 year groups are divided into 6 classes.  Our school is becoming increasingly popular locally, and needs to grow into 7 separate classes.  In order to achieve this, the new class will have to be installed in the current library. Clearly, the library is an important part of any student’s education and will need to be replaced in time.

To date, our school has made significant improvements, prioritising Government funding appropriately to provide separate facilities for those children who need extra support, including a state of the art therapy facility and sick room.

We are now embarking on an ambitious project to extend our school in order to re-provide the facilities lost by expanding to 7 classes, to improve the use of our excellent outdoor areas and to co-locate the Rudgwick Pre-School onto our site. We are seeking funding from a variety of sources but, even if successful in these approaches, will still need to raise some £50,000 to complete the project. To assist with funding we are launching a series of events in the hope that sufficient monies can be raised to extend the school.
